The AFL draw for next year was released today with Collingwood having the best draw i thought id share it with you all and i also added what i pressume are the other teams supported by Diaries members

The Magpies will certainly have no excuse not to make the finals considering they play 18 of their 22 matches in Victoria and travel to Adelaide and Perth just once each, with 15 of their matches to be played at the MCG - by far the most of any club.

The Swans get 11 games in Sydney per usual but also two "away" games in Canberra against Melbourne and the Bulldogs, which are certain to be played in front of pro-Swans crowds, while they also travel to Perth and Adelaide only once each.

Meanwhile, after years of being accused by rival fans of always getting an easy draw, Essendon not only plays three of last year's top four twice but goes to Perth and Adelaide twice each while its once-only clash with Sydney is at the SCG.

And the Bombers both start and end the season interstate, although it should be noted that their round 22 fixture against West Coast in Perth is the first time since 1985 they have played their last round match outside of Victoria.

I didnt know who bezz was going to support next year so i put both his teams in

CARLTON full-forward Brendan Fevola has been sent home from Ireland in disgrace after he was involved in a nightclub brawl during Australia's International Rules tour.
In a major embarrassment for the AFL, the 2006 Coleman medallist incurred the wrath of furious league boss Andrew Demetriou and was sent home, for clashing with a staff member in a Galway nightclub in the early hours of Monday morning.

Fevola, 25, was not selected for Australia's first-up loss to the Irish at Galway on Sunday and became involved in a wrestle with the staff member after drinking at the nightclub with teammates.

Fevola was interviewed by Galway police, who are yet to decide whether they will take further action.

He also fronted an Australian disciplinary committee, which was convened during the squad's investigation of the incident, and it determined Fevola was guilty of unacceptable behaviour.

The disciplinary committee comprised Australian coach Kevin Sheedy, captain Dustin Fletcher, AFL chief executive Demetriou, league football operations manager Adrian Anderson and AFL Players' Association chief executive Brendon Gale.

On top of plunging the AFL into embarrassment overseas, Fevola's indiscretion is a major personal blow.

He had stopped drinking alcohol before the 2006 season and claimed his former waywardness was a thing of the past, so much that he put his hand up to captain Carlton next year.

Fevola made little attempt to hide his open disappointment at not being selected for the first match in Galway.

It was reported on Channel Seven tonight that Fevola had been drinking at a horse race meeting in Galway before he and some Australian teammates partied at the nightclub.

Demetriou was forced to apologise to Irish officials for Fevola's actions, although the player did the same.

"Brendan offered a full unconditional apology for his actions," Demetriou said in a statement.

"The matter of whether Brendan may face any police charges down the track is a matter for the Galway police, but the AFL will not tolerate such behaviour from any player while representing our code and our competition.

"The AFL has offered a full unconditional apology to the Galway police and the staff of the nightclub and, on behalf of the AFL, we are extremely embarrassed and disappointed that one of our players has been involved in an incident of this nature while representing the competition on an international stage.

"We felt we had to act in the strongest possible terms to send a clear message that such behaviour will not be tolerated."

Fevola will not play in the second and final match of the series, to at Dublin's Croke Park this Sunday.

His indiscretion now puts his international career in jeopardy.

Australia will not fly a replacement player to Ireland.

Carlton chief executive Michael Malouf said the club was not in a position to comment on the incident as it was not aware of all the details.
